Strategic Space Planning, Layout, Workplace Design and Service Flow Design Services

A Michigan facility is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive services in strategic space planning, workplace design, and service flow optimization. The objective is to enhance the functional use and efficiency of the facility through thoughtful planning and design.

The selected vendor will be responsible for reviewing existing building plans, analyzing square footage, and assessing any physical constraints. On-site walkthroughs and stakeholder meetings will be conducted to gain an in-depth understanding of the facility’s strategic goals and operational needs. The vendor will analyze departmental relationships and interdependencies to recommend optimal placement of departments within the building, as well as the development of conceptual and functional space plans.

Additional responsibilities include identifying shared spaces, fostering opportunities for collaboration, and addressing accessibility, wayfinding, and visitor experience. The vendor will map current and proposed service delivery flows, recommend layouts to minimize bottlenecks, and design efficient circulation patterns for both staff and visitors. Proposals should emphasize improvements that support logical sequencing of services, improved service coordination, and overall operational efficiency.
