DESCRIPTION

The State of Vermont is seeking a vendor to provide Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships services. The selected organization will implement evidence-based strategies aimed at reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors to minimize the initiation and misuse of cannabis and alcohol among youth and young adults.

Responsibilities include maintaining and strengthening state, regional, and community-level capacity to reduce high-risk behaviors contributing to substance use and misuse, particularly among youth and young adults. The vendor will also be expected to develop and apply performance measures and outcome data, create data collection tools, and conduct data analysis per the evaluation plan.

Further tasks include updating and refining the RPP program logic model and establishing a data-driven statewide, regional, and community-specific approach for delivering evidence-based substance misuse prevention strategies. This includes developing and maintaining an updated registry of evidence-based and promising practices that specifically address the needs of the communities where youth and young adults are served.
