The city is seeking a qualified vendor to design and facilitate a comprehensive strategic planning session for its commissioners. The primary objectives include clarifying the shared vision and priorities among commissioners, building consensus on long-term community outcomes and policy direction, and connecting strategic goals to existing adopted plans.
The vendor will be responsible for a full planning process that may involve a pre-retreat assessment, facilitation of a strategic retreat, and the development of a concise, actionable framework. This framework should help inform annual goal setting, performance planning for staff, and guide future policy decisions. Tasks also include reviewing and, if necessary, reaffirming, revising, or retiring outcome areas from the 2021 strategic plan, and identifying opportunities to align with other adopted city plans. Questions related to this service must be submitted by December 5, 2025.
