The selected consultant will evaluate current brand positioning, marketing efforts, and messaging strategies, and provide actionable recommendations to define future aspirations and achieve organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include a thorough review of existing strategic documentation, such as growth studies, attendance data, and program evaluations, as well as site and facility assessments covering infrastructure, animal habitats, and visitor services. The scope also requires in-depth analysis of audience demographics, visitor behaviors, motivations, and satisfaction metrics. Assessment of governance, staffing capacity, volunteer programs, and educational outreach initiatives forms a critical part of the engagement, alongside competitor analysis and benchmarking against peer organizations and industry trends.
The successful vendor will identify strategic priorities and develop scenario-based options, including considerations for resource limitations or growth opportunities. Deliverables include branding and messaging strategies, conceptual renderings and design visuals for fundraising and marketing purposes, and facilitation of public concept testing to incorporate community feedback into planning outcomes.
