DESCRIPTION
A California-based organization is seeking a consultant to provide comprehensive strategic planning services. The consultant will be responsible for reviewing relevant documents and resources, such as past strategic plans, programmatic priorities, and other key organizational materials, in order to inform the planning process.
Key activities will include facilitating the development of the organization’s goals and outcomes, as well as guiding the creation of refreshed mission, vision, and values statements that align with new strategic directions. The consultant will prepare and finalize a written strategic plan, incorporating opportunities for organizational review and feedback. They will also work closely with senior leadership to foster internal awareness, alignment, and buy-in throughout the organization.
Additionally, the consultant is expected to deliver a practical planning framework to support annual work planning and ensure the strategic plan is actionable. Recommendations regarding organizational structure—including organizational chart development and analysis of staffing needs—will also be provided to fully support the organization’s strategic direction.
