DESCRIPTION

The organization seeks a vendor to collaborate on the development of a comprehensive strategic plan, including the review and refresh of its vision, mission, and identity to ensure alignment with regional and provincial health priorities. The scope includes analyzing existing organizational documents such as mandate letters, accountability agreements, and previous strategic plans, as well as scanning relevant provincial frameworks and guidance materials.

The selected vendor will engage internal and external stakeholders to gather insights regarding the current vision, mission, and network identity. Findings from these activities must be synthesized to establish evidence-based strategic priorities, goals, and objectives for a defined planning horizon. The vendor will develop and present refined or alternative vision and mission statements, and draft a strategic plan reflecting the organization's commitment to improving perinatal and newborn outcomes.

Testing and validation of the draft plan with key stakeholders is required to ensure clarity, cultural appropriateness, and strategic alignment. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive, future-focused strategic plan, including revised vision and mission statements and a new organizational name, defining the role, priorities, and desired impact. Leadership approval processes will also be supported throughout the engagement. The contract period will be for one year.
