DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive strategic planning services aimed at ensuring continuity of institutional knowledge and priorities, while enabling the expansion of efforts to engage and support member businesses. The strategic plan will focus on enhancing the neighbourhood through community placemaking, destination marketing, streetscape improvements, and other initiatives intended to bolster local businesses.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the administrative coordinator, board members, and stakeholders to create and finalize the strategic plan, as well as developing and presenting the completed plan for approval. Additionally, the consultant will design a progress management tool to evaluate ongoing implementation and success. The process will involve extensive neighbourhood research and stakeholder engagement to ensure the strategic plan is driven by member and board feedback.
Ultimately, the goal is to support local businesses through thoughtful strategy, stakeholder involvement, and actions that foster a vibrant neighbourhood environment.
