Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The organization is seeking a vendor to facilitate the development of its next five-year strategic plan. The selected firm will collaborate closely with the Board Chair, Executive Director, and project team to confirm the scope, timelines, deliverables, and communication protocols. The process includes reviewing key organizational documents such as previous strategic plans, reports, policies, and relevant data.
The vendor will analyze trends, risks, and opportunities, benchmark against comparable organizations in Ontario, and assess factors such as the funding landscape, housing pressures, human resources challenges, and data capacity. A trauma-informed and culturally safe approach is required throughout all engagements. There will be active engagement with the Board, staff, clients, partners, funders, and equity groups using methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and workshops.
Responsibilities include facilitating sessions with Board and leadership to define priorities, goals, objectives, and success indicators, ensuring these align with organizational capacity. The vendor will provide summaries of engagement activities and environmental scans, develop a draft strategic plan for review, and finalize the document by incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
