Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive consulting services for the development of a strategic plan. The scope includes designing and facilitating a planning process that builds on the organization's extensive community-building history, vision, and strengths, while also addressing both current and emerging community needs.
Key responsibilities encompass decision-making support, reviewing and consolidating stakeholder feedback, finalizing the strategic direction, and managing the layout and design of the final strategic plan. The consultant will develop an online survey based on crafted content, oversee project management, coordinate stakeholder consultations, facilitate feedback sessions, and ensure effective execution of the planning process.
The resulting strategy should be aspirational and future-focused, inclusive of the roles and contributions of the Board, employees, and community. It must be achievable within the operational realities of an urban public library system, offering a balanced approach that is both internally aware and externally responsive to collections, spaces, programs, services, and partnerships. Additionally, the plan should be relatable and accessible to all stakeholders.
