DESCRIPTION


A community college in Rhode Island is seeking a vendor to provide strategic plan consultant services. The selected consultant will lead the design and facilitation of an inclusive, data-informed planning process resulting in a new institutional strategic plan. The process must be centered around community college needs and integrate key priorities such as access, affordability, transfer pathways, workforce alignment, and adult learner engagement.

The scope includes transparent communication and easy access to engagement opportunities across all campuses, benchmarking against high-performing community colleges nationwide, and reviewing and aligning existing Master, Strategic, Academic, and Workforce Business Plans. The consultant will help define clear, measurable institutional priorities supporting student success, enrollment, transfer rates, and workforce relevance, and establish monitoring and reporting structures such as dashboards and scorecard templates.

Questions regarding the project are due by May 5, 2026. The contract will span one year.
