A Florida agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive strategic media relations and communications consulting services. The selected vendor will be responsible for offering expert consultation in communications, public relations, and media marketing, as well as developing and implementing proactive public relations strategies to enhance the agency's reputation and secure favorable media coverage across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating media relationships, drafting and distributing press releases, advisories, op-eds, and media pitches, and facilitating media interviews with subject matter experts. The vendor will also advise on messaging for both overarching agency objectives and specific programs, review public-facing documents, and assist in the creation of crisis communications plans, supporting the agency in crisis management situations.
Additionally, the vendor will provide professional media clips services, conduct an annual media training for agency executives and board members, and design a range of creative informational materials such as newsletters, social media content, brochures, ads, flyers, and annual reports.
