DESCRIPTION
A strategic cultural plan service is sought to develop a comprehensive plan that includes a strong and concise vision statement, actionable goals and objectives, and recommendations derived from an inclusive community engagement process. The selected consultant will prepare an initial project workplan, review historical arts and culture initiatives, and conduct research such as regional or statewide surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather community input.
The project requires the analysis of the agency's performance compared to other arts councils within the state, and possibly on a national level. Consultants will be responsible for conducting stakeholder interviews, reporting findings, and leading the staff team in synthesizing the feedback to articulate a mission, vision, and strategic objectives for arts and culture at the agency. Deliverables must include a regional marketing plan and strategies to secure and grow funding for the arts, with the final plan provided in electronic format. The contract period will last for five years.
