A California city is seeking qualified vendors to provide strategic communications, public relations, and community outreach services. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing comprehensive communication strategies for specific projects, coordinating stakeholder engagement efforts, and organizing public education programs. Tasks will include communications planning, messaging development, and implementing strategies that highlight key city policies, initiatives, and emerging complex issues.
The scope of work also covers providing support for the city's public relations, strategic counsel, and government relations activities. Vendors will assist with media relations, including developing media strategies, crafting messages, and delivering media training. Additionally, consultants are expected to manage updates to the city's website and social media platforms, as well as produce reports documenting outreach outcomes, media coverage, and recommendations for future initiatives.
The contract is expected to span a three-year period.
