Strategic Communications Service

A Tennessee agency seeks a qualified vendor to deliver strategic communications services, with a focus on high-level counsel, crisis communications support, and media training. The selected vendor will facilitate quarterly strategic communications meetings with agency leadership to address emerging issues, organizational priorities, and long-term strategies. These sessions will include expert guidance on matters such as regulatory changes, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and public perception. After each meeting, the vendor will provide actionable summaries or plans to enhance the agency’s communication effectiveness.

In the area of crisis communications, the vendor will offer both proactive and reactive support, including around-the-clock availability during crisis or high-intensity events. This involves strategic messaging guidance for both internal and external audiences, along with development or refinement of crisis frameworks, escalation protocols, and message maps to improve preparedness.

Additionally, the vendor will provide professional media training for executives, spokespeople, and subject-matter experts. This includes tailored group sessions on on-camera presence, interview skills, and best practices for engagement across broadcast, print, and digital media, supported by customized materials such as talking points, interview guides, and feedback summaries.

The contract is set for a one-year period. All vendor inquiries must be submitted by February 20, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 13, 2026.
