This RFP seeks a vendor to provide strategic communications and social media support consulting for a forward-thinking agency. The selected consultant will offer expertise in shaping clear, consistent messaging on complex topics and develop narrative themes rooted in communications best practices. Responsibilities include assessing current messaging on priority topics, refining and tailoring messaging frameworks to resonate with key audiences such as riders, community members, business stakeholders, partners, and media, and producing polished storytelling content for digital platforms and stakeholders.
The consultant will also assess the agency's current social media presence and performance, draft a strategic content plan that aligns with updated messaging, and create social media posts for agency approval. Additional tasks include developing and implementing webpage structures, layouts, and content within existing brand standards—excluding full website redesigns. Deliverables comprise structured website and newsletter content, board materials, stakeholder outreach pieces, and final webpage drafts.
