A consultant is sought to provide strategic collaboration and goal development services for animal welfare organizations in South Carolina. The primary objective is to design and facilitate a comprehensive goal-setting process that brings together multiple organizations with diverse missions, philosophies, and operational approaches. The consultant will create and implement a facilitation plan aimed at fostering mutual understanding, building trust, and aligning interests among the participating organizations.
This engagement requires the establishment of a safe, neutral, and professionally led environment to enable open dialogue, particularly among organizations that have experienced limited collaboration or historical tensions. Through structured workshops and stakeholder assessments, participants will identify shared values, challenges, and opportunities, ultimately developing 3–5 unifying strategic goals. These goals will then be translated into actionable objectives to guide future collaborative efforts and establish a strong foundation for continued coordination within the animal welfare community.
Key tasks include preparation and stakeholder assessment, leading two interactive workshops—one focused on building trust and identifying common ground, and another on defining shared goals and objectives—and consolidating outcomes into a comprehensive report.
