The government authority in Richland, Washington is seeking professional engineering services to update its Stormwater Management Plan. The selected vendor will evaluate the existing stormwater system, including current operations, maintenance practices, and system processes, to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
Responsibilities include producing an updated Stormwater Management Program with implementation schedules, assessing staffing needs, recommending design standard changes, and proposing amendments to the municipal code. The contractor will also recalibrate the updated collection system model with new flow monitoring data, evaluate flow routing and its impacts, provide a general evaluation of the system's condition and capacity, and assess the utility’s financial health to support proposed recommendations.
