DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Sacramento, California seeks a vendor to provide storage and barcode tracking services for approximately 4,000 to 6,000 archive or banker boxes. The selected vendor must offer a secure storage facility, manage box pickup and delivery, implement barcoding and filing systems, and track all inventory. Staff and subcontractors are required to complete and pass a Live Scan background check before commencing services.
The vendor will provide bi-monthly or as-needed pickup, barcode, and file services for new inventory, and standard pull and delivery operations within a 24-hour turnaround of request. Email confirmation of pickups and deliveries must be sent within two hours, and physical inventory reports—including box numbers and barcode identifiers—must be available upon request. Staff will utilize a Barcode Tracking System to coordinate pickups and deliveries. The contract period will span three years.
