The State of South Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to develop a comprehensive State Energy Strategy. This effort will support policy-makers as they navigate complex questions about the state's energy future, helping to establish a strategy that is secure, affordable, reliable, resilient, and conducive to economic growth, tourism, and environmental stewardship.
The selected vendor will be responsible for assessing the current energy landscape and facilitating agency stakeholder engagement to ensure representation from various sectors. The goal is to effectively identify and prioritize stakeholders’ key concerns and priorities as part of developing a balanced energy strategy.
Deliverables will include a draft, customizable State Energy Strategy accompanied by actionable insights, tools, and policy recommendations. In collaboration with the agency, the vendor will also help design a framework to guide the strategy’s implementation, aiming to create a robust energy roadmap for South Carolina’s future.
