Sponsorship Development Services

The city seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive sponsorship development services. The selected firm will support the city in identifying, packaging, marketing, and securing sponsorships and partnership revenue related to city events, programs, and assets.

Responsibilities include developing a holistic sponsorship and partnership strategy that aligns with the city’s brand, events, facilities, and long-term economic development objectives. The vendor will be tasked with identifying, creating, and valuing sponsorship assets across programs, events, facilities, and public spaces, as well as producing high-quality sponsorship packages, marketing materials, and sales collateral.

Active sales outreach to potential sponsors at local, regional, and national levels is expected. The firm will also structure and negotiate sponsorship agreements, including multi-year partnerships, and manage sponsor relationships to ensure fulfillment of obligations and long-term retention. Coordination with city staff is essential to maintain brand alignment and community standards.

Additionally, the provider will develop and implement programs for naming rights opportunities, identify legacy gift and long-term philanthropic contribution prospects, and assist in creating relevant policies and pricing structures. All efforts must align with public-sector standards and community values.
