DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Elgin, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide a range of special programs services focused on supporting students with disabilities. The scope includes conducting assessments by receiving student referrals, administering both formal and informal evaluations, and implementing the appraisal process to determine eligibility for special education services.

The selected partner will collaborate with school personnel by offering staff development training for the identification and support of students with disabilities and will assist teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Services also encompass program and instructional management, fostering effective relationships with students and parents, communication and counseling through individual and group interventions, behavioral support, and crisis response. Educational diagnosticians who are either monolingual or bilingual are required. Additionally, the provider will participate in organizational improvement efforts, analyzing critical needs and working collaboratively to enhance existing programs.

This contract will be awarded for a three-year period. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted no later than March 24, 2026.
