DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Florida seeks vendors to provide a comprehensive spaceport and launch assessment study service. The scope includes developing a vehicle capability overview and evaluating the spaceport's ability to accommodate national security satellites, ensuring mass and orbit performance requirements are met. The study will identify technical, cost, and schedule risks, as well as assess the requirements and interfaces of the launch system and spaceport.

Additional responsibilities will involve tailoring US Space Force spaceport development and operations best practices to the context of launching national payloads. The vendor will familiarize themselves with launch vehicle capability and support systems, identify mission risks and propose mitigation strategies, and provide technical documentation and support to enable monitoring and control of the launch pad. Launch mission assurance assessment expertise is required.
