The government authority in Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive space planning and programming consulting services. This engagement encompasses a variety of public service facilities such as fire and emergency services buildings, libraries, jail facilities, E–911 centers, transportation hubs, roadway signalization, signage and marking, vanpool and express bus services, as well as support for digital communications like informative websites and government access television channels. Environmental and community functions including landfill and recycling programs, as well as event planning, are also included.
The scope involves a thorough facility assessment to review building layouts, document space utilization, and evaluate spatial efficiency and circulation. The selected vendor will conduct functional space analyses to identify operational challenges and opportunities. Integral to this work is meaningful stakeholder engagement with county leadership and various departments to capture current and future requirements. The consultant will develop a detailed space program outlining functional needs. The contract period will be for one year.
