The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking information from qualified firms as part of market research for an upcoming re-compete of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The focus of this opportunity is to identify businesses with the technical capability and availability to provide a broad spectrum of general construction services at the SSA Headquarters campus in Woodlawn (Baltimore), Maryland.
Under the prospective IDIQ contract, services may include new construction, renovation, alteration, repair, demolition, design-build tasks, and a variety of specialized work such as concrete and stone installation, preformed expansion joints, bituminous concrete, application of road paints, concrete curbing, sidewalk replacement or installation, asphalt crack repairs, temporary road repairs, storm drain inlet work, layout, and seal coating. All projects will be performed at SSA Headquarters facilities.
This request is for information gathering and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation for proposals. Input gathered will assist SSA in shaping its acquisition strategy for the upcoming contract.
