The City of California is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based solid waste tracking and management software solution. The preferred solution should be a commercially available, off-the-shelf Software as a Service (SaaS) or a vendor-hosted, fully customizable portal. Implementation will follow a phased rollout schedule, including defined milestones for implementation, testing, and final acceptance.
The software must be browser-agnostic and employ responsive web design to ensure optimal usability across a range of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The solution should enable the city to transition to a fully electronic, cloud-based, and paperless system for tracking and managing solid waste and recycling services, with functionalities that support compliance, outreach, and collaborative record-keeping.
