SUMMARY

Seeking market research for a SaaS solution to track and manage implant and tissue items for VA North Eastern Consortia.

DESCRIPTION

The Department of Veterans Affairs North Eastern Consortia (VANEC), encompassing VISNS 1, 2, 4, and 5, is conducting market research to identify providers for a comprehensive software tracking solution. The objective is to secure a total SaaS solution capable of efficiently tracking and managing the chain of custody for all implant and tissue items, both biological and non-biological, used within their network.

The proposed solution must be web-based and function as a unified platform, integrating both hardware and software components necessary for complete implant and tissue inventory management. Key requirements include software licensing, ongoing monitoring, supply management, and user training. Additionally, the system must integrate seamlessly with the Cerner (Oracle) platform to support accurate, real-time data transfer and operational continuity.

This opportunity anticipates the establishment of a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement, commencing September 1, 2026, following the expiration of the current contract. The selected solution will support VANEC’s clinical and operational needs, helping ensure compliance and the highest standards of patient safety.
