SUMMARY

The U.S. Army is seeking industry input for lifecycle software sustainment services for the Deployable Power Generation & Distribution System Power Unit MEP–PU–810C/D.

DESCRIPTION

The Army Contracting Command–Aberdeen Proving Ground, Belvoir Division, is seeking information from industry sources capable of providing comprehensive software sustainment services for the Deployable Power Generation and Distribution System (DPGDS) Power Unit, specifically the MEP–PU–810C/D variant. This request for information will inform the development of a future acquisition strategy for lifecycle software sustainment activities.

The DPGDS Power Unit was first deployed in Fiscal Year 2021 and is expected to face hardware and software obsolescence challenges over its 17–25 year economic useful life. The selected contractor may be responsible for program management, systems security engineering, secure software development, software assurance, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), and ongoing cybersecurity and vulnerability management for DPGDS software components. The requirement aims to ensure the mission readiness of the DPGDS fleet by managing and securing applications such as Dief, Easy Reg, Jal Test, Webasto, Basler, and Beijer. Government will review RFI responses and may follow up with discussions or further RFIs as part of its market research.
