The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Sam Houston is conducting market research regarding the provision of software, service, and support for the existing Nurse Call System at Brooke Army Medical Center. This effort seeks to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement, with a focus on both large and small businesses, including those from various small business socioeconomic categories.
While a sole source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded to the incumbent contractor, Nations Advanced Communication & Cabling, Inc., the government is encouraging interested businesses to submit statements of capability. Respondents should detail their qualifications, experience, business information, and identify any conditions that may restrict competition. Additionally, businesses are invited to suggest alternate NAICS codes if appropriate.
The anticipated contract will be a follow-on requirement, with a projected five-year performance period. Interested vendors should prepare concise capability statements that specifically address their ability to fulfill the requirements for software, service, and support of the BAMC Nurse Call System.
