DESCRIPTION

The Rhode Island agency is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive software screen time and cost analytics system for tracking and analyzing student and staff engagement across approximately 50 software programs. The objective is to gain detailed insight into not only the amount of time users spend on each platform, but also the level of engagement, such as whether students progress beyond initial or warm-up activities into more adaptive or individualized components of the programs.

The desired solution must feature an intuitive dashboard that presents usage-based data at the student level and leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI)—with products such as ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, or proprietary tools explicitly identified—to analyze both screen time and cost. The software should distinguish between academic and non-instructional use, and, upon input of program cost data, generate cost-per-pupil analyses. It is considered an advantage if the system can also report on cost benefit relative to usage depth or frequency.

Vendors are required to submit any questions regarding this opportunity by February 19, 2026.
