The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is seeking qualified sources to provide software evolution services—including maintenance and support—for Philips patient monitoring equipment. The scope of services includes furnishing all necessary labor, parts, materials, and travel, as well as handling shipping to and from Philips. Contractors will be responsible for performing software repairs and supplying loaner devices as needed for Central Monitoring, Telemetry, and Patient Monitoring systems.
Interested organizations must demonstrate capabilities specific to software evolution services for Philips medical equipment. Qualification requirements stipulate that the contractor must provide at least one primary and one backup employee with current Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Training Certification related to the covered equipment, and all staff must have a minimum of two years' experience maintaining this type of equipment. Documentation of OEM training certificates will be required with any formal bid offer on the service contract.
