DESCRIPTION

The state of Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide a secure, web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) mentoring platform. This platform must support multiple user roles, including program administrators, mentors (from alumni and corporate partners), and mentees (students). Administrators should be able to create, import, and manage user records with detailed information such as contact details, academic background, class year, student status, interests, and relevant demographic data in accordance with applicable policies.

The platform should enable self-service account creation and updates for mentors and mentees, with options for administrative approval. Role-based and configurable access controls are required to ensure appropriate permissions for viewing and editing user information, notes, alerts, and reports. A key feature should be a matching engine that pairs mentors and mentees one-to-one, utilizing customizable compatibility criteria such as industry interest, academic program, class year, demographics, availability, and meeting preferences.

A non-mandatory pre-submission meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by March 27, 2026.
