Social Media and Web Archiving Solution

This RFP seeks a solution for the comprehensive capture and preservation of social media platforms and other publicly available web-based content. The proposed system must reliably archive platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, as well as websites and online communications, addressing previous challenges faced during congressional web harvests for Senate domains.

The solution should offer full and authentic data capture, including posts, comments, replies, and associated metadata such as timestamps and usernames. It must be capable of preserving dynamic and interactive web content, including videos, pop-ups, expandable or scrolling elements, and similar non-static features, with a high level of fidelity and completeness.

Searchability and accessibility are critical. The system must feature full-text search functionality and metadata indexing, supporting searches by date, account, post type, or engagement metrics. For security and integrity, the solution must employ data encryption, maintain audit trails of access and activity, and support export of archived data with hash values and metadata to verify authenticity.
