An agency in Washington is seeking a qualified consulting firm or individual to facilitate focus groups as part of a social marketing campaign focused on natural yard care. The selected facilitator will conduct at least three focus group sessions to collect insights from residents on their needs, perspectives, and motivations related to environmentally friendly yard care practices.
Responsibilities include developing a strategy to ensure participation from a diverse and representative group, supporting the Stormwater team in creating a discussion guide and focus group questions, and handling logistical arrangements for both in-person and virtual sessions. The facilitator will be expected to analyze the qualitative data collected, identifying motivators, benefits, barriers, and competing factors affecting natural yard care adoption. The analysis should also address accessibility, inclusivity, and how the lived experiences of overburdened communities influence behaviors and attitudes.
A comprehensive report summarizing findings and recommendations will be required. The contract is set for a four-year period, with all questions regarding the RFP to be submitted by December 9, 2025.
