The City of North Augusta, South Carolina, is seeking a vendor to provide renovation services for the irrigation system at a local soccer complex. The project includes installing new irrigation heads, piping, valves, controllers, and all necessary components to deliver a fully operational and efficient irrigation solution.
Scope of work requires the vendor to submit a detailed sketch of the proposed irrigation system and provide field record drawings compatible with GIS input. Each soccer field must be isolated, ensuring independent operation with separate valves and no shared valve setups between adjacent fields. The system design must include a mainline system shutoff valve, incorporate winterization features, and ensure proper backflow prevention, all in compliance with local codes and requirements.
Additionally, the scope encompasses the complete removal of existing hydraulic irrigation heads and installation of new components as specified. Vendors must have experience with municipal irrigation systems and the ability to deliver clear project documentation suitable for city records.
