An airport in Arkansas is seeking proposals for the implementation of a smart restroom solution. The desired system will monitor the usage of stocked items, assess customer restroom experience, and support custodial and maintenance teams in efficiently allocating staff and resources.
The airport operates continuously, supporting commercial airline services and accommodating substantial passenger and staff volume, including during holidays. The smart restroom solution should deliver real-time, accurate insights into restroom demand, help reduce the time restrooms remain in suboptimal condition, enable quick and touchless collection of customer feedback, and minimize product waste through usage-based monitoring.
Additional requirements include the ability to guide customers to available stalls or facilities, reduce physical touchpoints for both users and staff, offer a scalable platform capable of monitoring additional terminal areas, and require minimal infrastructure modifications for deployment. The contract for this project will be for three years.
