SUMMARY

South Carolina seeks vendors for small software application development, including COTS, modified, or custom solutions under a statewide contract.

DESCRIPTION

The state of South Carolina is seeking qualified vendors to provide small software application development services under a statewide contract. This initiative aims to address software needs that are best fulfilled using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software solutions. In cases where COTS solutions do not suffice, the state may opt for Modified Off-the-Shelf (MOTS) software or the development of custom software applications.

Vendors will be expected to enhance or re-write existing installed applications—whether MOTS or custom—and to design and develop new small-scale custom software solutions as needed. The contract will operate under an indefinite delivery, job order, multiple award, fixed-price, deliverables-based framework, and will be available for use by any authorized state or local public body throughout South Carolina.
