The government authority in Salem, Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide services for the Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Business Venture Direct Program. This initiative involves the reauthorization of SSBCI, aimed at delivering financial support to small businesses by distributing capital through Capital Access Programs (CAPs) and Other Credit Support Programs (OCSPs).
The selected vendor will be responsible for establishing the legal and organizational framework of the investment vehicle, including creating the investment committee, setting up the necessary legal entity structures, and instituting accounting and reporting processes that meet Treasury SSBCI guidelines. Additional duties include fostering relationships with prominent investors to attract co-investors, managing the process for evaluating and selecting investment candidates, and structuring and negotiating investment transactions in compliance with relevant legal and reporting requirements.
The contract period for these services is set for ten years.
