DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will develop a handbook tailored for entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Nunavut, Canada. This resource must be practical and culturally relevant, supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of business development—from early idea generation and start-up through operational management, regulatory compliance, and long-term business sustainability.
Responsibilities include the research, development, and preparation of comprehensive content. The handbook should cover entrepreneurship fundamentals, developing business ideas, micro business and home-based enterprises, business planning and feasibility, and financial literacy including bookkeeping and basic financial management. The vendor will also review existing business support materials pertinent to northern and Indigenous communities, identify barriers commonly faced by entrepreneurs in small northern and remote areas, and address topics such as arts and crafts production.
