DESCRIPTION


This request for information seeks a shipboard automated maintenance management solution to support vessel maintenance documentation and machinery operational data collection for MSC vessels. The Shipboard Automated Maintenance Management System (SAMM) is intended to enable shipboard personnel to document maintenance activities, record daily machinery operational data, and support shipboard material readiness testing and onboard contract inspection programs.

The scope includes software, hardware, and data support, including periodic or emergent ship visits to resolve issues and provide crew training. The solution is expected to support data entry, definition, and association; machinery shipchecks on designated vessels; reference data updates for the Port Engineering (PENG) system; predictive maintenance narratives; electronic engineering and deck logs; diesel engine combustion analysis; development of special tests, expert system rules and templates, and condition monitoring requirements such as vibration test analysis guides; test plan development and updates for ship inspection; and maintenance of the SMART/SNAPSHOT report database.

This opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside.
