A government agency in Ireland is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive SharePoint support and development services through a draw down contract. The selected vendor will assist with the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and administration of the agency's SharePoint environment, including development, production, and on-premise multi-tenanted configurations.
Key responsibilities will include supporting the EIT Operations team, offering expert advice on maximizing the value of the agency's SharePoint investment, and extending the existing Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) across multiple business units. The vendor will also be tasked with developing SharePoint applications using the provider-hosted app model and providing day-to-day support for both systems and application development teams.
Additionally, the contract will require the vendor to provide strategic guidance, including recommending best practices, identifying opportunities to expand SharePoint functionality, and developing a roadmap for the continued enhancement of the SharePoint infrastructure.
