SharePoint Online Migration Planning and Business Analysis Services

A government entity in Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide planning and business analysis services to support the migration from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online. The selected vendor will supply a business analyst to guide the transition of SharePoint sites, including generating detailed requirements, creating wireframes, and preparing documentation such as Excel workbooks. This documentation will outline which site contents are to be migrated, what should be decommissioned, and will identify web forms and workflows that require further attention.

The project also involves specifying requirements for Power Platform applications and recommending solutions for replacing deprecated InfoPath forms. The vendor will engage with stakeholder groups to build consensus around planned migrations of business unit site collections and provide technical resources with guidance on the recommended timing and sequencing of site moves. Additionally, the vendor will deliver documentation and requirements and participate in meetings regarding ongoing and new development requests for SharePoint Online.
