DESCRIPTION

The SharePoint Online Intranet Modernization Project seeks a vendor to replace the current legacy intranet with a modern, accessible, scalable, and well-governed platform in alignment with Microsoft best practices. The project will involve designing and implementing a contemporary SharePoint Online intranet, featuring refreshed visual design, updated page layouts, and a streamlined navigation structure. Vendors are expected to create a scalable information architecture to support both enterprise-wide and departmental requirements.

Accessibility is a core requirement, and all templates, components, and page layouts must fully comply with ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Guidance on accessible content creation will be provided for departmental site owners. The modernization includes re-architecting and rebuilding up to 13 departmental sites with standardized templates, branding, and content structures. Departments will review, update, and restructure their own content before incorporation into the new intranet, supported by content governance guidelines and best practices from the vendor.
