DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide services to support the development and implementation of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programs in emergency settings for the government authority in New York. The scope includes creating a comprehensive manual that equips response teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for designing, implementing, and monitoring high-quality, adolescent and gender-responsive interventions before, during, and after crisis situations.

The manual will integrate content from established programme priorities, emergency response resources, and menstrual health and hygiene approaches suitable for humanitarian emergencies. Key components include strategies for accountability to affected populations, engagement with adolescents and young people on SRHR, values clarification, and integration of SRHR into emergency response plans. In addition, the manual will address preparedness principles such as climate-related concerns, provide tools and checklists for emergency readiness, guide needs assessments, and support comprehensive action planning, monitoring, and learning cycles in SRHR humanitarian action.

Vendors must demonstrate expertise in developing and delivering resources related to SRHR in humanitarian contexts, including adolescent-focused and gender-sensitive approaches to emergency response.
