The government authority in Flint, Michigan is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide vision and hearing support services for seniors who are legally blind and/or deaf, have low vision and/or hearing, or are experiencing functional or progressive sensory loss. Services will support these individuals by helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Required services include, but are not limited to, vision and hearing rehabilitation, independent living skills training, orientation and mobility instruction, self-management and referral services, social work consultation, support groups, public education and outreach, and assistance with obtaining aids and appliances. Providers must deliver these services both onsite and in the client’s home. The contract term will be for one year. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 1, 2026.
