The selected vendor will provide community-based activities for a senior center in Oakland, California. Services are aimed at promoting social connection, wellness, and engagement among older adults. Primary objectives include helping participants maintain well-being, independence, and dignity through opportunities for meaningful social interaction, recreation, education, and leadership development.
Program offerings will encompass a range of activities, including arts and crafts, music, dance, film screenings, cultural programming, book clubs, and group games. Physical fitness and wellness components such as exercise classes, walking groups, yoga, hiking, meditation, and gardening are expected. Educational workshops will include lifelong learning, language exchanges, leadership development, and employment support resources.
