The government authority located in Springfield, Illinois seeks a vendor to provide self-insured services. This includes administering self-insured plans covering medical, facility/professional, and behavioral health services (excluding pharmacy) for participants in several statewide insurance programs: the State Employees Group Insurance Program (SEGIP), Local Government Health Plan (LGHP), Teachers’ Retirement Insurance Program (TRIP), and the College Insurance Program (CIP).
The resulting contract will be in effect for a two-year period. Proposals are expected to demonstrate expertise in managing large self-insured plans, especially in the public sector and covering a variety of employee groups.
