DESCRIPTION

The City of Texas is seeking a consultant to develop and implement self-evaluation, transition plan, and public engagement strategy services. The selected vendor will create a comprehensive public engagement strategy to collect input from key stakeholders, such as individuals with disabilities, advocacy groups, and the wider community.

The project will involve compiling and analyzing relevant data, prioritizing findings, and supporting the design of a dynamic and integrated tracking system for barrier remediation. A thorough self-evaluation will be conducted to assess current policies, practices, and physical infrastructure, focusing on enhancing accessibility across city programs, services, facilities, and digital platforms in compliance with regulatory requirements.

A comprehensive transition plan will be developed, outlining prioritized corrective actions, phased implementation strategies, cost estimates, and timelines. The tracking system must integrate with the City's existing cloud-based GIS tracking system. Additionally, the consultant will help design and implement public involvement strategies, ensure program eligibility criteria, and refine participation, application, registration, and enrollment procedures.
