The government authority in Austin, Texas seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive security operations services under its data center services program. Services will include a wide array of security operations such as preparing incident, performance, capacity, vulnerability, and compliance scanning reports. Additional responsibilities encompass privileged ID management, posture reporting, intrusion detection, risk management, program management, and security auditing along with reporting.
The vendor will also manage a Security Operations Center, conduct data discovery and classification, handle privileged access, and manage security incident response. The scope covers providing a transition project plan, operational readiness assessment, integration plans for new customers, and growth strategies. The contractor must ensure tooling implementation, service monitoring, asset change reporting, and tracking of on-boarded and off-boarded personnel. The contract is slated for a four-year period, with a virtual bidders conference and a clearly defined schedule for queries.
