Idaho Department Of Education
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The state of Idaho is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive science assessment systems. Required components include a Science Statewide Summative Assessment, as well as interim assessments that closely reflect the format, content, and rigor of the summative assessment. The system must accommodate all students, including those with disabilities, English language learners, students who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or with low vision, and those needing paper/pencil assessments.
Additionally, a science formative assessment system is needed, which should be curriculum-agnostic and compatible with any locally-selected curriculum. This formative system should primarily support instructional improvement by providing educators with timely, actionable insights regarding students' understanding, misconceptions, and learning progressions. Reporting and data visualization tools must be teacher-friendly, focused on classroom-level use, and avoid positioning the system as a high-stakes or summative accountability measure.
