DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Wilmington, Delaware seeks vendors to provide comprehensive school renovations services. The scope includes the installation of new restroom signs across all restrooms—both renovated and existing—as well as the removal of current wall-mounted signs. Walls must be cleaned and repaired, and new signs installed in accordance with ADA requirements.

Selective demolition of structural elements such as partitions, doors, windows, ceilings, and finishes is required. The renovation also entails selective demolition and updates to building systems, including plumbing, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, tele/data, fire detection and alarm, and security devices. Vendors must secure all necessary permits for the work and provide, erect, and maintain temporary barriers and security provisions throughout the project.

Operations should be performed so as to minimize interference with adjacent structures and occupants. The work must avoid obstructing public and private entrances and exits, and at no time should required exits be blocked; safety measures must be implemented to protect individuals during demolition and removal activities. A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 19, 2026.
